I'm Ecumenical

A gift from the Production Support Manager

You can say a lot of things about me, but you can't say I'm a poor sport.

Ecumenical . . . but pained about it. That expression on your face says a lot. :-)

But I am impressed.

Question is: Are you wearing it outside of the house?

I remember being in a supermarket up in Rhode Island, wearing my NY Jets cap. Hadn't even thought about it. It was cold, I wore my cap. Guy passes me in the store, looks at cap, turns the corner, and I hear him say, "New York Jets?! Jesus Christ."

Can only imagine what kind of response you'd get in Boston wearing that t-shirt.

I'm very impressed, Jeff. I'll send you a Mets t-shirt after they win the World Series this year.

Garpu,

Hahaha. Hey, if it brings joy to some of my readers here, it makes me happy too!

William,

Question is: Are you wearing it outside of the house?

Aw, come on, man. Give me some credit. What do you want from me, blood? We'll see about that this summer. Maybe I'll give it a shot.

Cut me some slack. After all, our 9-year-old nephew in Fairhaven, NJ sent us back the Brady jersey we'd given him as a gift last year before the game!

"New York Jets?! Jesus Christ."

Ditto. How can you argue with that? You've said the same thing yourself before the TV screen many a time, haven't you?

Good old Providence...

Crystal,

Ha - that expression could curdle milk :-)

Expression? What expression? That's how I look 90 % of the day.

:-)

Liam,

I'll send you a Mets t-shirt after they win the World Series this year.

I actually wore a Mets button during game 7 in '86. Game 6 was that damned bad.

The Mets winning the whole shebang this year? Never gonna happen my friend, the ghosts of Gary carter, Keith Hernandez, and Mookie Wilson be damned...

It's only after living in Boston that I understand the depth of this gesture.

Thanks Friar Charles! See, now there's a man who understands the extent of my magnanimity in this matter.

Jeff, thanks for your comment on my last post - I disappeared the post, but appreciated the comment :-)

No problem, Crystal. Thanks. :-)
