Bassist Victor Wooden's Amazing Grace

I know next to nothing about Victor Wooden, but I thought this was some pretty nice bass picking and slapping. I'm intrigued to hear more from him.

Cool. I see he's the bassist for Bela Fleck and the Flecktones. Did you see all the other videos from that concert?

I saw Bela in a tiny club in Colorado when he was with New Grass Revival. I was pressed against a very small stage right next to where he was playing, and I stared transfixed and in disbelief at his banjo-work for the whole show.

Here's a clip of New Grass Revival on Austin City Limits, around the same time I saw them in Colorado.

Thanks, William, for commenting on that. I especially liked the Mark Knopfler feel in the intro to this.

Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, eh? That shows how versatile this guy apparently is. Nice clip of New Grass Revival. Bluegrass is the real country music. :)

I'd like to hear the album Wooten made with Stanley Clarke and Marcus Miller - SMV
