Chatham, again...

Actually, that's a photo of Surfside in Nantucket, but it will do...

The last time we went to Chatham I stopped in here for a quick post and all hell broke loose. This blog hasn't really fully recovered since. Anyhow...

Happy New Year!

Let me guess who it involved...

Pretty picture. Haven't felt like blogging much lately. Steve and I have been sick as hell, and I managed to infect most of his family, too.

Nice colors! Maybe I'll post something about Monterey.

Luckily, I didn't know anything about your previous Chatham post, so I have no expectations of high drama regarding this one.

I can start a bar fight about "Happy" New Year, if you like.

What makes it "happy"? Given the economic situation, Israel-Palestine, global terrorism, the football playoffs? Are you some kind of "positive thinking" nut who refuses to embrace the bleakness? Why not a happy "old" year? Better still, why not "happy" all the time, leaving behind the limitations of a calendar year altogether? Why are you so hung up on a 365-day measurement of life? Why compartmentalize everything?

Nantucket looks nice.

Happiness all the time to you and your family, including, but not limited to, January 1 through December 31, 2009.

Hi guys,

Jen, I hope you've been enjoying your trip east. Sorry to hear you guys aren't well. I've felt like I've been on the verge of a sore throat for a few days now, but so far I'm holding it together.

Crystal,

I'd like to read about Monterey and see some photos if you have some.

William,

I'm starting to think that the real miracle is that there is any GOOD out there to be found at all. Hope springs eternal. :)

Paula,

Thanks for stopping by! I hope 2009 will be great for you and your family!

That only goes to show that you should never chat ham! :)

Beautiful scenery and I thought that these skies were only produced at the front door of our modest cottage.

I hear ya! You've still got a lot of learning to do yet Victor.

Happy New Year Jeff
