Twenty-Five Years ago Today...

...I graduated from college.

How could it possibly be that long? It feels like yesterday. It's amazing how time goes by so quickly. What have I done with my life? Have I accomplished anything worthwhile?

Well, if my professional and academic achievements haven't exactly been overwhelming, there are at least the great little ones that I'm doing my best to help raise. I am very proud of them.
And of course, I mustn't forget their lovely mom...

Beautiful family, Jeff.

I graduated from college 23 years ago, and I'm still in school!

Thanks, Liam.

You graduated from college when you were sixteen? Seventeen?

Congrats Jeff! You have a beautiful family and this is the most important in life, I would say.

Thank you guys, and by the way, thank you for being so welcoming to a brand-new blogger...

Paula,

I was a saddened to read about your recent doubts on your blog (hope it wasn't something that I said), but regardless of whatever you decide to do, you have a beautiful spirituality, and you are truly blessed. That's real grace.

Great pictures! I can identify with the increased weight, thinning hair part of it (will turn 40 this week).

I guess I wasn't quite awake when I wrote that. I graduated 18 years ago -- I guess it seems much longer. I graduated from high school 22 years ago, maybe that's what I'm thinking.

Jeff, it is not because of you.:-).Do not worry. I have the mind of a scientist and this is blessing and a curse...And as someone coming from East-Europe i have trust issues.I will be fine, thank you for your kind words. I hope that I did not cause you and others too much distress.

Steve,

Thanks for stopping by! I've lurked and admired your blog for a long time. It has a nice balance (which has been hard to find in Catholic blogdom), and you take holiness seriously.

Turning 40, eh? That's a big one, but you'll soon get over it. :-)

Happy Birthday. Today is my birthday.

Liam,

Don't worry, you have a right to be tired. I just thought that maybe you were one of those genius pups who goes to college early. You woouldn't hear me laughing anyway. I'm utterly * hopeless * at mathematics.

Paula,

Don't worry about me. Please be patient with us. The Catholic Church is in a state of real flux right now. we are going through some rough times right now, but we are going to be OK.

Anyway, everyone has a right to see the face of the person they are communicating with. I'm going so slip back under my cowl now so that my links will sort back up to the top.

Peace

Thanks Kim! Likewise! I got a good chuckle over there. It felt very much like home. I have a feeling your household runs a lot like ours does.

Hope Grace's surgery goes well.

Prayers,
Jeff
